This policy explains how U A U FOOD SUPPLEMENTS TRADING L.L.C uses cookies and similar technologies on zelthynutrition.ae. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies — pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits — and refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies set by us are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by another organisation whose service we use are "third-party" cookies.

2. Your choices

When you first visit the Site you are shown a consent banner, provided by our consent management tool, Pandectes. Essential cookies are set automatically because the Site cannot function without them. All other cookies are set only after you give consent.

• accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category, from the banner;
• change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the Site footer;
• withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal;
• block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the Site from working correctly, including the shopping basket and checkout.

We keep a record of the choices you make in the banner, so that we can respect them and demonstrate that consent was given.

3. Categories of cookie we use

We group cookies into four categories. The live, authoritative list of the individual cookies in use on the Site — with their names, providers and durations — is generated by an automated scan of this Site and is shown in the cookie preference centre, reachable from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. We publish it that way, rather than as a fixed table here, so that it stays accurate as we add or remove tools.

Strictly necessary

Required for the Site to work. These cannot be switched off and do not require your consent. They keep your shopping basket and session, apply the currency and delivery settings for your country, secure the checkout and process payment through Shopify Payments, keep you signed in, protect against fraud and abuse, balance server load, and remember the cookie choices you have made.

Functional

Set only with your consent. They remember your language preference, products you have recently viewed, and notices you have dismissed, so the Site behaves the way you expect on your next visit.

Analytics and performance

Set only with your consent. They let us measure visits and sessions and understand how the Site is used, through Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics 4, so that we can improve it.

Marketing and advertising

Set only with your consent. They measure the performance of our advertising and allow relevant ads to be shown to you on other platforms, through Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads and TikTok, and support basket-reminder and marketing messages through Klaviyo.

Where a platform supports a consent signalling standard — such as Google Consent Mode v2 — your choices are passed to that platform directly, so that it adjusts its own processing accordingly.

4. Third-party cookies and international transfer

Third-party cookies are controlled by the organisations that set them, and the data they collect may be transferred outside the United Arab Emirates. We apply the safeguards described in section 6 of our Privacy Policy. For details of how each provider uses the data, please consult their own privacy notices.

5. Do Not Track and global privacy signals

Some browsers and extensions send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no single standard governing how a website must respond to these signals, and we do not currently represent that the Site acts on them automatically.

6. Changes to this policy

We review this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that sets cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

This policy is published in English and in Arabic. In the event of any inconsistency, the Arabic version prevails.
